If you don't mind my asking, what was this 'something else in mind'?

Ah - interesting. Was what I responded with what you had imagined I would say? Or did you have something else in mind?

Quite the foreboding utterance.

And to you as-well. How are you doing this fine day?

Ah, sorry about that. I never even think to log-on to Skype. I have also been pretty pre-occupied this past month or so with work and such. Perhaps I will put Skype onto my Launcher, that way it is more obvious that I even have it, haha!

Anyway: how have you been?

Ah, the Makishima quote. Perhaps I should change it, it's been there for quite some time now. A little change wouldn't hurt.

I do like that quote though.

Hmm? I haven't the faintest clue what you are referring to.

Hmm, seems like quite the strange situation.

I have never been referred to with title before; but I cannot say that it is far from the truth. Greetings, mysterious stranger!

Sorry about the late reply, my schedule has been rather busy, out of the blue, for some reason.

Anyway, I just got skype. My username is 'ezenith.'. I didn't realize that they had a working version for linux!

Oh, and about the P.S., I just meant that the website runs beautifully, looks fantastic, and has an overall professionally done feel. So when you said that I'd be surprised at how almost mashed together this site is, I was quite surprised. :P

Hm, I wouldn't say I prefer game development or try to pursue it over everything else. When it comes to programming I love to try and do it all (which is probably why I don't get very far in any specific language or field, but no matter). I love it all. I find it so fascinating that I can type some seemingly random (to someone who doesn't know any programming languages) strings of text and create a moving ball on a screen, or a calculator! Those are small and almost insignificant programs in the grand scheme of things, but you can build off of them and make them into maybe a ball that moves and jumps around on a key stroke, or maybe that calculator!... well I'm not really sure how you could rework a calculator but I bet you can if you tried! I love it!

Anyways, enough of that tangent... I completely agree with your point about joining being a way for me to develop as a... developer :P and with that, if you will have me, I will certainly accept this opportunity. Just let me know how, and what's expected of me!

@P.S. Haha! I suppose you can't judge a book by its cover; or, in this case, a website by its pages @.@

That is correct. I am fairly familiar with most, if not all, of the major components that are required to build a working pc. I can not say that I know much about the component's components but what ever I do know about anything like that is vague and probably learned through osmosis.

As for languages I know: currently I'm dabbling in HTML5's canvas element with vanilla JS. I'm 'trying' to learn enough to build some sort of web game that is a little more extensive and in-depth than the Snake game I had written in the past with HTML5. Though, as I am terrible with most things that game developers need to know (like maths. Mainly maths. Almost elusively maths), it is proving difficult - but fun!

Apart from JS, I know a bit of PHP which I have recently used to create an app for my friends and I. It basically takes a list of all the beer available at our local The Beer Store and outputs a random one for us to try next. It's all prettied up and stuff so I suppose you could also add CSS to 'languages I know and use?'.

MSL (mIRC Scripting Language) is probably the language that got me started with programming. I have made a few dozen text based RPG's with it, as well as some channel bots for Twitch. It seems like only yesterday; but it wasn't (abrupt stop).

I've also written some things in Java, C++(for a friends homework), and C#(with Unity). I think that's about the extent of what I know. I haven't really tried any frameworks/libraries or anything like that, so~.

I would consider that but I can't say that I'd be of any use. Most of the things I've done or have mentioned here are just little, primitive applications that are very poorly written and almost mashed together. Nothing like this website, for instance.

Do you still noodle around with game development, or is most of your time spent on web stuff?

You have never heard of Snagglepuss‽ That is crazy; but I am glad that I could introduce you to such an awesome character.

As for my relation to electronics and the like: nothing in the form of formal education or whatnot. Hardware specific nothing major; I've just built a few pc's for my friends and family. And for the software side I am a hobbyist developer knowing few languages and only enough of each language to build very primitive applications. That, I believe, is the extent to which I have any relation to electronics.

Hello Ishimaru. I'm certainly not here for the ladies - that would be preposterous! Insane even (Snagglepuss voice)........ Okay I may actually be here for the ladies. ;P

My name comes from a combination of the letter 'e' which represents electronic (similarly found in other words like email), and the word zenith. I'm basically calling myself the pinnacle of all things electronic - or so I would like to think. I'm not actually self centred at all; not in the slightest! Haha!

Well fun itself is highly subjective. My version of fun is certainly not going to be everyone else's. That said, you could consider this exchange my little bit of interaction for the day.

Perhaps. I'm not one for community involvement, though. :P
