Humans are pitiful beings, walking forward their backs to the future gazing at the past. This is why they fail to notice the simplest pitfalls and stumble tragically and comically.
It's still a form of love. To those with the emotion of love, acts of rebelling, anger, cursing, fighting, and killing do not work in contradiction to that emotion. Rather, too strong a love could quicken them. What the other wishes is not all there is to love.
Look. Look at me! Watch as the man you cast out spills his blood and dies. Take a nice long look! I will save you all. I want you to live the rest of your lives knowing the man you abandoned saved you. And I will laugh at you from the afterlife. And tell you that it serves you right!
Let me make you a favor and tell you that you're talking to yourself here. There is no longer a person who dwells around. Will it be forever and ever? Well, time knows.
In the same time, I'm assuming Ram is mad, because Rem is getting all the screen time. But that's pretty reasonable as Rem is officially "main" character of the series in MAL.
Okay, you keep using- ^^
You know what? I'll them too. ^^
Anyway, there still have to be use of ESP in fiction, be it superheroes or whatever there may be. Oh, just how much I adore Devil's proof. It can be connected with possibly everything that has it's existence doubted. Let's not forget-- ^^.
Do you know the reason why Devil's Proof is frowned upon? Because it can counter itself.
To make it work one has to say that they "know" that something exists. Otherwise they can't use it. Then the other person just has to claim that what you said is a lie. Then he can use Devil's Proof too, as you can't prove that what you claimed is not a lie. Then you can use Devil's Proof, then he can again and so on.
Yes, I know. But think of the deeper reason- this way they are at eternal stalemate. It doesn't seem that realistic, first the other one who claims that you are "lying" have to know what is indeed Devil's proof, and at the same time to know how to counter it.
And so the one who "knows" that something exists losses, because he cannot prove that something "exists" and the same time wins, because at least that existence cannot be said to be a lie. While the one who tries to counter it losses, because he can't prove that it is a lie, and again wins, because at least he is happy that the other one can't prove it is true.
How is your progress in Rewrite? Have you realised that Akane and Kotori are best grill?
Also, hype: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5Sa4hzZYqY
"A Tale of Emotion versus Reason"
only finished Chihaya, im in Akane route now.. ahahaha really slow right... my weekend got interrupted with Rozen Maiden 2(2013) which is really good. XD
I've finished Zestiria end I found that the anime and the game are following a different path already. Take that whirlwind thingie for example. It never appeared in the game. Not even once. The villages and towns mentioned so far don't appear in the game. They are not even hinted at. (Except Ladylake, Elysia and Marlind from the ones mentioned.)
Heldalf, the main antagonist didn't appear in the OP or for that matter anything connected to Rolance Empire.
Well, we will see just how different the story will be, but the anime is supposed to go in a way that could never happen in the game. (Probably referring to the two games' main cast meeting at some point.)
It's basically a joke scene that gives and almost proper ending to the VN (if you consider perversion to be proper). However, I don't recommend it until you finish Terra.
Yep, finished it. It was kinda nice, but not good enough for me to read the manga as well. (Especially since that's still ongoing.) The plot is simple and most of the jokes were expected as well, but it was entertaining nonetheless.
well, I'm not planning to read the manga as well... me still following my rule XD I will never read manga if anime adaptation will coming(Im still hoping for 2nd season)
Well, regardless of the way it aired, we still have to wait for about the end of the season for a possible announcement. I think it airs normally in TV, it's just the digital release on streaming sites that released the whole show in one go.
The CG is ugly and horrible outside of the fight scenes. The pacing was too fast. And the worst of all is that they skipped two whole story arcs. During those two arcs Guts should get into a physical state that let's the events of the Conviction Arc happen (which is in ep 2). This series is an abomination for anyone who reads Berserk...
Speaking of Nagi... She also sang the ending for Shizuru's route in the Rewrite VN. Which reminds me, you might actually turn into a Shizuru fan if you read the VN. ^^ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kqAxTPd57U
did u read rewrite VN? I have it in my HDD but rule is rule XD
ugh... Shizuru not bad... I still catching eye of Akane Senri, this girl is really mysterious and I got feeling this story started from this girl and her cycle.
The Rewrite VN is not as ecchi as the anime paints it so far (which for me is a plus). In the VN, Koutarou doesn't grope Kagari and there are a large number of scenes that were left out of the anime. I liked how they included the first choice from the game (where to pick how to lead Kotori home), though as far as I know, that had no connection to what route you end up with and makes no changes to the story.
Well, this will probably one of the shows that are a "decent" adaptation, but don't even compare to the original material.
Well, I think you really should start with the VN and try to finish it before the anime gets to those points. The reason is simply the experience (and the fact that I have a hunch that the adaptation will fail as there are already a few contradictions with the VN).
I'll just say that without the Terra route, a good ending should be impossible.
The VN is a lot more structured than the anime shows the work to be. It is different in each of the girls' routes what information you get from the big picture. Then comes the Moon Route (a little bit was adapted in the first ep and it was portrayed as a dream there). And then comes Terra. You will need to complete all of the girls routes in the VN to unlock Moon. So yeah, it's kinda cool.
I guess I should stop with the praises so I'll just drop my ranking of the routes and then a few VN scenes (that may or may not will be left out ^^).
Ranking:
1. Akane
2. Kotori
3. Moon
4. Terra
5. Shizuru
6. Lucia
7. Chihaya
Moon do u mean, short purple hairy girl? (I dont know her name), so she will be a true route?
I planned to read this VN too, but after the anime end... but this talk make me want to break my rule and read it as soon as possible. also putting Akane in 1st rank is cheating :p
You will see when you get there. ^^
Also that girl is called "Kagari" or sometimes "The Key". And no, that's not the true route. In fact, there is no "true route".
The anime is supposed to be a 6th heroine route (for Kagari, since she doesn't really have a dedicated route). But since she is "the key" character in the whole story this route will have spoilers for all the others, which in my opinion reduces the enjoyability of the VN. (It will still be quite amazing though.)
Akane as best gril is not really cheating. That's just a fact. She has by far the most mature route out of all the girls. In fact, in terms of in story time, it's second only to Terra. It spans through several years, where as the other routes only describe events through a few months as the best.
Kotori is a close second for me. I found it really touching (which is rare to me), but other people usually say that's it's the worst route of all.
Moon is a bit more behind, but still close to them. It's just that awesome and the character developement in it is really noteworthy and great to watch. Just a small thing here: in the beginning of the Moon route, Kotarou's death there happens to moment he hears Kagari speaks, because his brain explodes from the amount of imformation that she talked about in that single second. He gets cut up only later. They sort of combined them in the anime.
Terra is another great route, but I just can't see it being as great as my first picks. Shizuru is closely behind Terra.
Lastly, the Lucia and Chihaya routes as horrible. Both routes are generic and Chihaya's resembles that of an everyday shounen fight anime. Lucia is a bit ahead on my list because of it. Lucia's route is overrated by the way. It got a lot of praise, but most of it is because Ryukishi07 (Higurashi and Umineko) is the creator of the route.
It's kinda long again, but meh. It's Rewrite. It's worth the virtual space.
Oh, it's also worth to note that 2 heroine routes are locked behind other heroines. And they are:
- You need to complete Kotori's route to be able to go for Shizuru's route.
- You need to complete Chihaya's route to be able to go for Akane's route. (Quite ironic, since on my list Akane is the 1st and Chihaya is the last. ^^)
Aaaaaaand that's it I guess.
I think I will read it this night, and I hope can clearing prologue so next day I can do Chihaya route to be able to unlock Akane route, after that maybe I will do Shizuru route.
also Im quite curious with Lucia route, horror? or maybe tragic theme?, plus I like her character, she bit tsundere XD
Thought so. I mean, I'm usually visiting Gelbooru to check pics and there are more Rem ones than all the other girls combined. I hope Subaru thinks a little about whether to keep chasing Emilia with 0 reward and wasting time, or pick Rem and take responsibility for what he said back there. http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=3216283
Joker Game wasn't really that great. It posed as some kind of episodic mystery in the beginning. However, they didn't gave enough clues for you to have even the slightest bit of chance to figure things out. Afterwards, they drew it a bit back, but didn't help at all, as the feeling was still there.
The character designs were bland and generic. There were characters that looked almost completely the same. Personality wise it would be cruel to even inspect them as there were close to none recurring characters.
Overall, it was fun to watch, because it may have actually pictured for us how a spy in WW acted. But nothing aside from that it noteworthy.
Things only get real after the "Golden Age". So get ready for the next season.
Also, Schierke is probably the closest character you will get to "moe", but I'm not sure how far this new adaptation will go.
http://berserk.wikia.com/wiki/Schierke
Also, Puck is just plain dumb. You will see what I mean...
Yeah it just beginning, I got that message from last movie. To be honest, I'm quite curious with what will happen in next series, I mean a lot of characters die in the movie and who the hell skeleton warrior is..
Waiiiiiiittt, I'm not ready for watching moe char die
and end of story... ahahaha,
the funny thing is the last 6(or maybe 7) episodes filled with Rem and Ram arc.. its completely like Emilia become Supporting chara... ahahaha another Akarin XD
btw, kyaaaa... Rem is really cute in the last ep. XD
Well, if they don't become a couple I'll definitely rate the series lower than I planned. I mean, just look that scene. It's like a love confession by Subaru and Rem definitely fell for him and understood it the same way I did. If Subaru keeps chasing Emilia afterwards like nothing happened (as it is now) then it's the worst thing they could do in my opinion.
I mean, Emilia is fine and all, but she is quite a bland character to be honest, whose only purpose so far is to be an emotional pillar for Subaru.
It's also worth mentioning that I'm not a fan of harem series (or endings for that matter). They are just plain dumb. If they applied even the slightest bit of realism, then by acting the way the protagonists usually do in them, they wouldn't end up with every girl. In fact, they would end up with their right (or left) hand. If you just imagine for a second that you are a girl and you see your crush chasing other girl all over, you would lose interest very quickly.
I do understand that anime is not made to be realistic, but this little thing makes every female character in the harem seem dumb, which decreases their value in my eyes.
we're in same bout, I'm not fun of harem end as well..
and don't u think this rude, I mean he ask Emilia for date after what he done to Rem... I feel bad to Rem XD *hugs Rem*
but, seriously.. this is the first time I've seen Subaru making serious talk(Rem scene), he never done this before, he always joking around when starting conversation. I mean if he really want to chasing Emilia, he should make a change. I think the way Emilia see Subaru now is not what Subaru want.
Definitely Watch:
- Koutetsujou no Kabaneri
- Magi: Sinbad no Bouken
- Sakamoto desu ga?
- Kagewani: Shou
- Mayoiga
Maybe:
- Boku no Hero Academia
- Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?
(There is a char in the above one that you will definitely like.)
- Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge
- Flying Witch
- Shingeki no Bahamut: Manaria Friends
- Kuma Miko
There you go. That should cover it, but it always come down to what I feel like watching when the season actually starts.
Oh, I'm reading tha manga as well. There were some quite good twists. If you only watch the anime you can look forward to it. ^^
It's definitely AotS, but they left out/modified several thing.
Like there is that minor scene with a "book" in the latest episode. It's too random in the anime. In the manga however, there is a scene where Kenya asks Satoru to return a book to him. This scene was not animated. Which makes the whole "That book actually does not exists scene" too random if someone pays attention. The point is, Kenya tests whether Satoru is himself or not, by checking his memories by asking him for something that he doesn't have. And Satoru proves him right, by not knowing that Kenya never lent him the said book. I might've overexplained it, but you get the point.
Minor details like that can make a huge difference. There are also other things at the beginning that are missing. Like Satoru actually saves Airi's life when she tries to catch a kid falling down and almost gets pulled down with the kid. This adds another huge part in building up the trust that Airi feel towards Satoru, but it was left out as well.
Also, I've watched Phantom World up until the current episode. It tells of a few interesting ideas that I agree with however, Mai is not really how I imagined her to be. And it slowly turns into a quite average show at the best.
Im noticed the manga as well, after watched 2nd episode. but for now I prevent myself from reading it.
I didnt know that part, but I noticed something missing here and there.. and they just cleared up with just monologue. but I though it was ok.. ahhh... that make me want to read manga too. but will wait until this series end.
overall is good series.. I like the way they axed story in each episodes. *take a note Im not M
about Phantom World, I understand that but its definitely good enough for lighten your mind after watching heavy anime series like boku dake ga inai machi or heavy object XD
to be honest political stuff make me crazy. and sometimes it take a while to understand what actually Qwenthur(the lucky guys on the world) trying to do. atleast for me...
on't overthink it. The political part of the series is really light. Qwenthur is just trying to get by. ^^
The only character so far that is tied into that kind of stuff more is titan tits.
I hope occultic;nine will not disappoint me
6 days since last seen.. lets make a bet, between two of us, I bet he will come back mmm u can have my Edna if you win muahahahah *teehee
anyway... I just watched Singeki no behamut, and the story its unexpected good... and there an announcement for 2nd season XD
and Ram is the real culprit?
if Ram mad because of that, Emilia would ready to kill Subaru, because she Main char but her screen time is less than Rem.
You know what? I'll them too. ^^
Anyway, there still have to be use of ESP in fiction, be it superheroes or whatever there may be. Oh, just how much I adore Devil's proof. It can be connected with possibly everything that has it's existence doubted. Let's not forget-- ^^.

yeah, supposed to go in a way that could never happen... cant wait to see it..

btw, have u checked Joker Game, I dont know, but my friend said, its good.

awesome but quite dark...

Puck is plain dumb, ok.. Noted
The animation here and there still needs some work. Especially where Guts walks straight towards the camera.
just watched new pv, really excited but I think the CGI looks even worse than in the movies.
Also, Barusu is quite irresponsible (like most protagonists), which is quite lame imo. He should just grab Rem and live happily ever after.
the funny thing is the last 6(or maybe 7) episodes filled with Rem and Ram arc.. its completely like Emilia become Supporting chara... ahahaha another Akarin XD
