Love is brightest in the dark.
Get over here, Zuko. Being part of the group also means being part of group hugs.
*referring to the man that took her mothers life* I wanted to do it. I wanted to take out all my anger at him. But... I couldn't. I don't know if it's because I'm too weak to do it, or if it's because I'm strong enough not to.
Uh, Toph, I think your feet need their eyes checked.
(gazing at Zuko with a dark look) You might have everyone else buying your... "transformation", but you and I both know you've struggled with doing the right thing in the past. So let me tell you something right now. You make one step backward, one slip up, give me one reason to think you might hurt Aang, and you won't have to worry about your destiny anymore. Because I'll make sure your destiny ends, right then and there. Permanently. (exits the room, leaving Zuko shocked)
You're not the only one who draws power from the moon. (Hama is shocked that Katara managed to resist her bloodbending) My bending Hama, is more powerful than yours. Your technique is useless on me! (draws water from the ground and forms a ring around herself before directing it at Hama)
The stars sure are beautiful tonight. [angrily] Too bad you can't see them, Toph!
You make a fine octopus, Pupil Aang.
Sokka, you're supposed to put the tarp on top of the tent. You know, so we don't get rained on?
Mighty Katara..? I like that.
Earthbenders! You don't know me, but I know of you. Every child of my water tribe village was rocked to sleep with stories of the brave Earth Kingdom and the courageous earthbenders who guard its borders. Some of you may think that the Fire Nation has made you powerless. Yes, they have taken away your ability to bend, but they can't take away your courage and it is your courage they should truly fear! Because it runs deeper than any mine you've been forced to dig, any ocean that keeps you far from home. It is the strength of your hearts that make you who you are, hearts that will remain unbroken when all rock and stone has eroded away. The time to fight back is now! I can tell you the Avatar has returned! So remember your courage, earthbenders, let us fight for our freedom!
*referring to Sokka* He's just upset because a bunch of girls kicked his butt yesterday. My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Avatar kept balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads. But that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, only he could stop the ruthless firebenders. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed and the Fire Nation is nearing victory in the war. Two years ago, my father and the men of my tribe journeyed to the Earth Kingdom to help fight against the Fire Nation, leaving me and my brother to look after our tribe. Some people believe that the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads and that the cycle is broken, but I haven't lost hope. I still believe that somehow...the Avatar will return to save the world.
